We had an amazing breakfast here, tasty , so fresh. My husband and I are both foodies, we have travelled all over the world , We were only passing here in Gent and felt so lucky to have had our morning food experience here. It’s owner operator and they are fantastic host. We had the Egg Melville with salmon , avocado ( we ask with no béarnaise) it was one of the best breakfast I ever had with a really fresh salad on the side, I would have licked my plate if it was appropriate. Would be my first stop when I return to Gent!

We've just returned from a 3 night stay here and had a lovely time. Although it's close to the station, the hotel is located on a quiet street and just a 5 mins walk away. In the area there are restaurants and a lovely Panda bakery plus a small shop to get some water etc. We chose the first floor room which was lovely with it's pink flamingo wallpaper and high ceilings. It had a bathroom with a bath and a shower over it plus a small sitting room with a wardrobe. The heating worked well although it was mild for the time of year and we didn't really need it much. We didn't meet the owners as they were away but we were looked after well by Fien who was really welcoming. She found some nice herbal tea for me for the room which was great! Plenty of trams stop at the station to take you into Ghent centre or it's a 30 min pretty flat easy walk to the sights. The only slight criticism I would have is the room needed some drawers to put some bits in but that's if I'm being picky! Great stay, highly recommended.

I've been here with a friend this summer and i loved it, the location is very cute and the food is delicious. We did have to wait quite a bit for our food, but it must be said that it was Saturday so the place was pretty busy, and everything looked to be made from scratch. There was also a lovely black cat hanging out in the garden :) I can recommend this place!

Our first time in Belgium, and we were made so comfortable by Maarten and Fran - wonderful hospitality and a super comfortable room and bed! AMAZING breakfast - highly recommend the shakshuka and a flat white or the eggs Benedict!

This review is for the actual bed and breakfast stay. My husband and I only had one night here but we were so happy with everything. The room was huge, super clean, and the amenities were thoughtful (for example, as a woman with curly hair I have NEVER had the option of using a provided diffuser blowdryer. The curly hair curls will know). The service was exceptional. We opted to have the breakfast in the morning and were greeted with fresh squeezed orange juice, a delicious bread basket, and a filling plate of eggs & bacon. There's a really sweet house cat that will keep you company if you like too. Of note - this place is convenient to the train station but you'll want to take an Uber back and forth from the city center. Otherwise, we would definitely return!

Loved our stay here. The room was unbelievable and exceeded our expectations, it was comfortable, clean and very homely. The owners were so friendly and helpful. We had breakfast and it was generous and delicious. We would love to stay here again. We didn’t want to leave! Infact, we spent more time here than in Gent!!
